This one should have been the update featuring the revised release-timeline.., well, sadly, it doesn’t.
Now that that’s out of the the way, on to the update and sale. There is at least one thing that is of significant note here.
Valentine’s Day has come and gone – I hope you all remembered about that free population – and the end of the month also came and went as well before we got a light drizzle of information together with a few new and old releases. It would have worked out if today were the 31st of February, I guess.
To be fair there are a host of possible reasons for why the update got pushed back a few days, most likely being that they hadn’t heard back from some crucial manufacturer by Friday of last week. Of course there was also the release of Monster Hunter: Wilds (which is awesome btw).
I say that as with the update not having the updated timeline and the delay in the sale, and a joke about various ways of how to off-set a possible price increase due to the possible tariffs in the US, there seems to be a medium to low-ish level of pitch-forks going on currently.
What can I say.. I found that list quite funny – KDM: Sim gacha sounds lovely.
Other than that update #126 on KS only featured a couple of plastic test models from the upcoming products. We get a look at the Starbound and Heliocentrism models as well as – what’s his face – probably an Indomitable Survivor for Spidicules.
In the back we also get a glance at the illuminated survivors – I believe they were called something on the lines of that, and, saving the best for last, the Parasite Queen herself as well!
I can’t wait to add her to my campaigns and die horribly to an influx in hands.
As for new products this month – the Valentine’s Day themed Cupid Lucy both normally sized and as a painters scale would be the obvious one to mention. Together with the annual Valentine’s Day Pinup Twilight Knight set returning, both sets also supplied the art for new prints being sold this month.
We also got a new version of the Apotheosis and this one was hilarious.
Mox the Healer seems to be a (beta content) alteration to the starting survivor set-up, whilst the new-ish Indom Survivor Roaring Harmonica Kale is finally getting a physical release this month after being first premiered in the Sim.
Speaking of which, KillyB has finally made it to the sim. No longer bugged to hell and back – I saw something about models in the floor.
Oh, and I almost forgot about Hollowheart Rene, another painters scale – which as far as I can tell is completely new. She looks absolutely gorgeous and thusly has sold out incredibly quickly.
There’s also a couple of Death High Minis that popped back up a little while ago – Herb Gatherer-chan, White Speaker (2024) and the Intimacy Couple.
So, finally – the most important bit – RINGTAIL VIXEN!
That is the big one in my opinions. The Vixen AND White Speaker Sword Hunter are currently available as white boxes. It’s been a hot minute since those were last easily available (outside the UK? for some reason?) so this is a prime opportunity to pick one or both of the two up!
Ringtail Vixen is probably the best choice for any given 1-of White Box as she comes with the bookmark that lets you circumvent the first roll of a 1 on intimacy in theoretically 50% of your campaigns.
And that is just great, isn’t it?
As for me, I picked out the Ringtail Vixen from the offerings to get for myself this time around. She is going to be sent from the HQ warehouse so I figured I could add Longclaw Lenore and the Golden Bat dice as well.
And after a bit of debate I also got one of the remaining naked rawhide sets. I’ve said a few times that I really like the modular old-school sets for KD:M and I wanted a few more build options for a while for that set in particular. Naked unarmored would have been great as well.
I might still get Kale as I can order him from the EU warehouse – to get the White Lion a bit more up to speed. Recently I started to miss the kitty cat after loads of Frogdogs over the last few months.
The Feline Entity has not been very keen on having her picture taken these last few days, so no new pics today.
The PotStars settlement I have ongoing has fought a Black Knight Lvl2 last time – which went surprisingly well (at this stage they are what I would consider under-par), considering I think I found a card to be afraid off amongst its A cards. That dog can vaporize people by charging at them point blank. Afterwards they faced off against a second DBK Lvl1.
So far I am really liking the beetle as well.
As always, thank you very much for your time – I will be heading back to hunt a few more Rey Dau in a digital space. Fret not, I will be posting Bogstop’s fight against KillyB Lvl3 in a few days as well though.
