It’s the time of the year where lagomorphs descend upon the survivors, bloody rituals are performed in the name of fertility and if enough viscera was spilled, the Red Star walks amongst us.
It took me typing it out to realize how heavily this reads like Slan.

In the lead up to the publication of this month’s update we got the cryptic (?) post about increasing prices from Adam on Instagram. And now we know.., well, not a lot more. It is a part of the update but for the time being we only know that there will be a general price increase and that it is going to happen at the end of May.
Wooh – 1 more month of doom-posting ahead of us!

Staying on the financial side for a second, the update mentions how volatile and quickly changing the situation is and has remained for a few weeks now.
KD:M as a business and Adam are going to invest a chunk of their money to shield “the project” against the tariffs for upcoming products as the Remastered Waves are set to be pushed out towards backers over the next years.
There will also be overpriced items on the store that are meant to contribute to this cause specifically as means for the community to pitch in if anybody wanted to.
As far as I can tell Reverse Lagomorph Erza is the first of these products. The Black Knight Citadel Board (travel edition) also feels like it, but might just be a goofy and really expensive collectors item.

As for limited releases (and re-releases) this month we also got a fucked up bunny, a bust of the Pantsu Witch and several game sized minis – like the Lantern Guard, Male Estate Hero and Court Investigator. With a lot of them already sold out.

Naturally a lot of these items are sold out already about two hours after the sale had started. (I fell asleep before it happened … which feels like it was for the better. The sale came in at 4:30-ish in the morning my time..)

As I’m more focused on the gameplay content I was happy to see another indom survivor – this time for the lope again: Dashing Reaper Paleun.
(Edit: We now know what the weapons gained from the indom-pattern actually do. They are 2/8+/7 dagger-sickles with both stone and lantern keywords attached and paired as well as savage for ability keywords with a further left-red and right-green affinity. If you manage to connect both as puzzle pieces the weapons gain:
During your act, archive a Fresh Acanthus to gain (move). If this weapon is paired, gain (move)(act) instead. Limit once per round.)

Overall quite a few items to chose from this month, and I didn’t even mention the typical repeats like Pasha, the Easter Dice set or Easter Aya. Those dice were made in a special kind of hell. If you own a set you already know what I’m talking about. The pictures don’t do them justice.
Both Erza, being my favorite of the mascots, and the bust of the Witch had me thinking about making a purchase though. But I can’t help but feel like Erza’s pose is a bit much for me personally. Anything Witch of the East Star related also just evaporates from the the store ever since we first saw her full model a year ago. So that was a tall order to get one from the get-go.

In regards to this site – I wanted to be more active over the last week, but got hit with a fairly intense cold, the Feline Entity didn’t care too much about that either, thus resting up has been a bit on the slow side. It didn’t end well for the Arch-Tempered Rey Dau showing up in the Forbidden Lands though.

What I did manage to do, was to add individual pages to the site for my painted stuff, but those are still quite empty.
For now I have a page up for Core, Expansions of Death 1, Inverted Mountain stuff and White Boxes divided up into Singles and Sets. I’ll add whatever I paint up to these in chunks, making sure to mention it whenever I do in my regular posts, but checking in ever so often should also do the trick. Right now I’m enjoying painting quite a bit .. not so much the taking pictures part, and I already feel like I need to redo a bunch of the pics due to poor lighting. But yeah.
Anyways.., since setting up these pages I added 1 leather armor set mini (sword & shield), the bone boys #2 & #3 (rawhide + bone axe or bone dagger), Echoes 3 unarmored and Survivors of Death 1 lagomorph set and frogdog set.
The Tyrant is currently waiting for a photo shoot together with the Echoes 4 Arrow Witch (?).

I’ve also started working on an unarmored survivor with a bone axe and the two People of the Stars minis. And I’ve also put on a base coat onto 2 frogdog armor minis, Cain, Jackel and the Core Butcher.

I’ll leave it at that for now as I’ll try and figure out what I want to buy from this sale if anything. But who am I kidding? I’ll get the indom survivor at the very least. But with the price increases happening and only around 30ish left in the EU with no signs of a EoD1 reprint on the horizon, I also got me a Gorm last month.
Still waiting on any news of the baby elephant getting shipped though. Just EU things.
