Time flies when you’re having fun.
I got home from a long day of walking through the woods mildly intoxicated yesterday (its.. a German tradition sort of), to a night with no real sleep as Nightreign released and now we even got this month’s update/sale today as well?
And its the dreaded price increase one? In between a sudden “no more tariffs” and “tariffs are back”?
What a handful of days it has been. Truly.

So. Yeah. Price increases. It’s been a topic before. But strangely, much more so last month? I saw a lot less doom posting last week then a month ago. Anyway..
Basically across the board everything got a little more expensive. Most gameplay-single-mini-White Boxes sit at $34 now, dice sets are up to $20 and the pin-ups are an even $30.
But what about the actual expansions? Well, those went up by $10 across the board as far as I can tell.
Notably, the Core game and GCE have not gone up in price. (Yet?)

There’s 2 more bits of news to share.
First off, the Remastered Wave 1 has finished production and is being prepped for departure, with an estimated arrival time of July. If things pan out decently well, at some point between July and August we’ll see the first people get their hands on Wanderers and Witches!
As I have not backed the Kickstarter (or pre-ordered any) these expansions through bakerkit, I will be looking at getting my hands on them via retail. It is safe to assume all these products will be available in the shop in a similar time frame. (Yeah!)
It should also be noted that due to recent comments made by Team Death members, it seems we are not going to get any other previews for these expansions (at least for the Wanderers) and we will have to find out on our own.

And the Core game is getting its reprint – probably just in time before GenCon even. Truly great news for everybody who is currently waiting on a chance to get into the game.

For sale items, the big one this time is the Mole. It is.. a chonky boy.
It’s obviously a future monster getting an early content-less release like the Golden Bat did as well. Most interestingly, the shop blurb implies a connection to the Graves Principle. Maybe, and this is a lot of conjecture, it could be coupled to a Campaign that forces a certain principle choice? Like PotSun forces Survival of the Fittest.
In any case, it is an imposing creature, going the way of ” just hanging out, being lorge”, looking a little like Giger’s Xenomorph.

There’s also yet another new Indomitable Survivor – Poison Partisan Ritika for your Spidicules-hunting pleasure; the, even for KD:M standards very naked Illuminated Lady 2; a Painter’s Scale of the EOD1 Thief Variant and a Great Game Hunter.
There is also a shirt – with the crest of the Parasite Queen! Get yours whilst you still can! (I’d really like the redone Satan shirt, myself.)
Speaking of selling out – there was a brief moment – a mere flicker in time where you could get a Forsaker today.
And (mostly) finally – there is currently a Preorder up for White Speaker – Bloodmage. This is meant to test the pre-order bit associated with the Dark Treasury, which will hopefully help with accommodating people by giving them a chance to combine previously ordered items, bakerkit/Kickstarter items and store orders for more reasonable shipping at a time of their choosing.

Oh, and I also liked this month’s art prints as they included a Severe Injury Chart. It’s totally not about that other one.

That should be all. I have gotten 2 of my 3 recent orders (#wheremygormat?) and looking ahead towards the Wanderers and Witches, I might hold off this month. It’s been an expensive one already.
(Edit: the Gorm finally arrived, a good 7 hours after writing this.)

I’ll get myself back on track with looking at the Skinnery and continuing with Azure Pond next week. For now I’m busy getting folded by Nightreign. Single-player hard yo.
