This is going to be a quick one, and whilst I initially had planned on putting out a write up of my latest Squire campaign next, I needed something quick for today – partially to piggy-back this piece of information along with it: because this is important – if you are part of the pre-order group for your Witches and Wanderers bundle (officially called Allies and Adversaries): check your Dark Treasury!
Ever since yesterday evening (the 22nd EU time) I have been able to set up shipping for my pre-order! It’s finally happening!
Some caution is advised though – there have been both reports of people getting their stuff sent out quickly and without a fuss, but we also have heard talk about error messages here and there.
(Edit as of the 28th: On the 25th of September Emails for the Dark Treasury pre-order got sent out – at least that was the day that I got mine, but by the time I am writing this, the EU warehouse is back up to EU warehouse-things again, as it is not available to have the items shipped from. At this point in time I am hoping we will be getting a small statement with the update, but its is hilarious in a way.)
And whilst I would love to get my hands on the items as quickly as possible .. between the (bank) holiday we have coming up in Germany and me being away for almost 2 weeks after that .. *sighs* .. I will have to play things safe and wait until I’m back.
So, again, check your Dark Treasury and once you are back we will continue on.
Okay?
..
Right.
Back to Fade.

If you already own the classic White Box of her, nothing of what comes in the box should look too out of the ordinary to you, besides maybe the art and Pillar card.
All in all you get the mini, some gorgeous art, her hunt event, 2 rare gear cards and the Pillar card telling you exactly when to add the event.

Pillars are a system meant to debut with Campaigns of Death and offer ways to switch up things about any given campaign. Between Fade, Percival, the Game-Over-milestones and Arc survivors you should have a general idea of the type of modifiers that could be added to the start of a fresh campaign, ranging from a singular hunt event to whole new subclasses of known mechanics.
As for Fade in particular. Her hunt event is added upon the innovation of Storytelling and once it has been drawn the card is removed from the deck once again no matter the outcome.
It does feature an encounter with the community’s favorite hunt event: REDACTED – and I’m sure you are just as ready to get eaten as I am. Nothing quite like being turned in to a statistic whilst you ponder your morality as you are forced to choose between the child or the weapon.
Or, well, you could just roll bad. That would do it as well.
Speaking of moral choices – there are both the Newborn and Sword of Silence rare gear cards, the latter being a 2/5+/6 sword with sentient, irreplaceable and unique that gains sharp whilst the wearer is at 6+ understanding – which also turns off both the White Speaker and White Secret events for the settlement.
Are you still going to save the baby? Or are you grabbing the weapon?
The White Speaker outcast, Fade also features a universally beloved model, being notably different from the rest of the typical releases.
She was a bit fussy to put together, mostly because of her cape not fitting snuggly between the connecting pieces for me. But it wasn’t as bad as Crabman.

And that is what you get when you buy Pillar Survivor Fade.
Next time I’ll be back will likely be the September update. I have been looking forward to that one, ever since Taste mentioned the painting contest.
I have also been trying to take pictures of my DBK, and the Feline Entity tried her best to help out. She had to get right up in there.

With that I am done for the day.
As always, thank you very much for your time, and check your Dark Treasury!
Amathul
