It’s that time of the month again – sale & update time!

So there was a bunch this time, and yet somehow still nothing at all. In that way its a weird one this month as we heard over on the discord that this considered somewhat of a break month for the community with a teaser for either big and/or loads of stuff coming for Halloween at the end of October. (NUKEALOPE!)
So lets get to it!

First and foremost: the Witches and Wanderers stuff is now available for regular purchase! Go get ’em if you want them! This does include Red Witches and Pariah for the KDSim. Of course depending on how the Sim feels today stuff may or may not work smoothly, properly or at all.
Though that should be expected at this point.
I can also report that ordering the pre-order bundle from the EU warehouse is available again.

What else is there?
Screaming God did the Kingdom Death thing and content crept to new heights – between the big ol’ mega-lope and the Parasite Queen we knew of, we are set to be also getting a Vignette as well it seems. Which feels a bit random to me but sure – hit me with it!
I have been pretty hyped for this particular expansion for about 2 years now and this won’t change my excitement for it – though I am starting to wonder how much it is going to cost – this is certainly going to be an extra-BIG expansion now.

Campaigns of Death has been mentioned as well and it was officially delayed. Hell yeah! Wooh!

I wouldn’t say this comes as much of a surprise – at this point it feels par for the course. I remain ever the optimist at this stage and trust in the words of Team Death: that CoD is not going to be a bottleneck like the GCE was with so many other expansions (IM and peripherals) developing as well. And that we will be getting more frequent releases from year to year (looking forward to “dat bee”).
We then got to see some plastic this month for the Dark Flower armor (big scissors!), the Skyking Armor, the starting four with barbarian flavor, Flower Halberd Eve and the Wise One. Visit the KS update for all of them!

And finally the Painting Contest!

Nothing shared this month, sadly.

But probably next month? I do hope we are going to get to see all the entries soon!

Speaking of October – we also got mention of possibly a Honeycomb Weaver plastics preview for next month.

As for the sale, we are back to school with Death High Lucy, Esther, Satan Twin X (or both), the Dung Beetle Knight and even the White Lion Principal makes a return for this year!
We also got a brief appearance of the Death High Twilight Knight – but she’s gone already.
If you are not headed to Death High, you might instead enjoy a painter’s scale of the Punctual Bride, a re-run of Phobia (The Hunt) – the KD:M comic, a new T-shirt of the upcoming Dungeon Deck featured in the Silver City expansion or a new Phoenix Indomitable Survivor – Fated Dagger Domino.

The first reaction to the new indom was somewhat luke-warm over on the discord from what I saw (“not another phoenix indom”) – but as somebody who both doesn’t own GCE and likes the birb – I am quite happy with the offering.
I will be honest, I would have preferred Sunstalker or Flower Knight – but this will do.
The 4/7+/9 dagger with Deadly 2 and Sentient crafted from the Fortune Feather (IR) gives your survivor Age Tokens upon wounding with it. A quirky proposition for following Phoenix fights in particular, for 2 blue puzzle pieces, it also has a Once per lifetime effect to remove all your accumulated age tokens whilst losing 1 hunt xp for each.
This weapon might be just what you needed to keep that favorite survivor of yours hunting for longer?
..
Now I just need to find a way to give it the axe weapon type..

And there you have it – another month in the books. Halloween is up next and then the much awaited Black Friday, The closest thing to a KD:M holiday we have.

But as I’ve mentioned before I will be headed off and out of the country for over a week soon and my Witches and Wanderers will have to wait just a little bit longer sadly – I had initially hoped I’d be able to showcase them at least a little bit during September, but alas – it was not meant to be.
It will be a bit quiet on the site for a bit, but I will be back mid-month with more stuff, the Feline Entity and hopefully my new expansions! I’ve been stewing on what principles to pick for my Season 3 campaign for so long now!

I do have a very mid write-up of my squire campaign coming up though!
