You have found it! My personal ranked list of all anime I have watched over the last 6 to 7 years. Started with my mother in an attempt to not fully unlearn what little Japanese I had learned, we decided on a watchlist, a season if you will, of 5 anime per year, trying to both cover classics as well as whatever just caught our eye at the time.
Over time a couple of series were also added that were not part of any one season initially. Movies we watched are generally omitted. Whilst series that are unfinished will be continued as new content for them releases (like CSM, Frieren or SpyxFamily).
The series are ranked by how much I personally liked them overall and/or how much of it stayed with me (you know the feeling). Other family members have their own lists, at times varying immensely.

Now before you crucify me: a lot of factors contribute to each ranking. Also, ranks tend to shift around a bit each season aside from a few that feel set in stone (looking at you Violet and Shinji). Also, I’m starting to sense a theme emerging from many entries of my current top 10.
Of course, no one series has been bad. This is, after all, just a snapshot of 34 from tens of thousands of series that exist.
Oh, and regarding most ultra-long-form-series, like One Piece, Naruto or Dragonball, I usually have seen a fair chunk of those but I prefer reading them, also putting that into a ‘season’ of ours just isn’t feasible, so they will likely be left out. AoT, FMA:B and CG:L should be amongst the longest series achievable.
Season 6 (currently on series 2 of 5 – Parasyte) includes: Parasyte: the Maxim, The Case Study of Vanitas, To Your Eternity, Tokyo Ghoul and Dungeon Meshi.
Outside of these we are likely looking at including other anime to the next ranking as well (none as of yet).
